Peter Thorn

I have had a lifelong passion for wildlife, particularly birds. Their colours and movements are captivating. The challenge of the covid lockdowns led me to take up art and to try to capture the essence of each individual bird. My approach uses live observation and one or more photographs as the basis for a detailed drawing and then a painting.
